a journal-- "randel's 40th birthday celebration journal"-- with a letter on the first page and a starbucks card with instructions to get a caramel frap today :)
What a cool thing to look forward to each day you wake. Unfortunatley I get to get up and dread the fact that it is one day closer to glasses with bifocals and saggier body parts (saggier than they already are!) I hope you truly enjoy the next 39 days. I can't even think of one thing for my husbands b-day. I'm truly impressed!
Hi Randel - just got finished reading about your birthday adventure. What fun for you and the rest of us! Steve is a real romantic! I remember a time when you thought you would never find "Mr. Right". All of you girls out there who despair of ever finding yours - look at the blessings of waiting for GOD to bring him! I love you Randel - Happy 40th!, Debbie in the desert
Just found your blog from the comment left over at Out Of Deep Waters. Part of me wants to add you to my Blog List so I can remember to keep checking in, but the other part of me is insanely jealous about your husband's birthday project and facing that daily may be more than I can handle!!!! =)
we live in dallas, georgia, in an area known as cedarcrest, and have recently planted a church (vintage 242.) we have two girls, anna katherine and sara, who are 7 and 6 respectively. we love jesus, our girls, dear friends, kicking peoples rears at spades, decaf caramel fraps, and date nights.
